I just finished my first week of classes at UCF after taking a year off from school, and I also realized that is probably something I should write in a journal about. Jumping back in after a delayed entry is not as overwhelming as I feared, but even with just 3 classes there is a bounteous supply of work, even though we really haven't gotten into the meat-and-potatoes of things. I haven't written anything in the past year though, so let me tell you everything interesting that happened:
August: What I think was a deep depression spell, since it felt like it. Also started many months of volunteer work.
September: More volunteering.
October: Drove with my dad all the way to Philadelphia for a wedding.
December: Christmas, got a Wii U, probably should've made a journal at least there, but never got around to it.
January: Last month of volunteering before applying to UCF.
March: 22nd birthday, though we didn't do anything special.
April: Architectural pin-up, where I posted all of my architectural work at Valencia for UCF faculty to look at. I think it might've been more of a ceremonial thing than anything, since I still got entry even though a portion of my pin-up board fell on its back. Should've brought more heavy-duty tape, but it scarcely matters now.
May-June: Flew over to Puerto Vallarta for a vacation with my parents. It's a lovely place with lovely hotels, but a lot of it strikes me as rather tourist-trap-like.
August: Got a job as a pixel artist a game called BiT Evolution! Also, this journal!
So that's about the long and short of it. I know I haven't been making much pixel art on my account, and that's probably not liable to change anytime soon, but I do have a lot of new ideas for new Fakemon when I get the opportunity.
Also looking forward to Smash 4! Can't forget that!
